“Shepherd Institute of Music exists to bring a Community Music School of Excellence to area students by preparing them for a life long avocation or vocation in music in a loving and caring environment of artistic teaching, high performance standards, diversity and accelerated curriculum.”

Located in Central West Palm Beach, Florida, with a satellite in Jupiter, Shepherd Institute of Music has provided music education to vocal and instrumental students both young and old since 2006.The Institute is operated on a non-profit basis. We offer a wide range of opportunities for each student to learn and express a love of music at affordable rates and convenient times throughout the year.

Each week, students from more than 15 area communities join us for music classes  and  private lessons. A typical student for us might be an eighth-grader from Palm Springs Middle School studying Violin or a high school junior from Dreyfoos School of the Arts learning piano taking a weekly ½  hour private lesson.
