Tuesday Gifted and Talented Supplemental Track

New this 2009-2010 year is the offering of Private Study with our artist teachers to be open a second day on Tuesdays. We will be open all day from 9am-8pm with studio time available for our teachers to teach private lessons. This is not meant to be the student’s only lesson that week. In order to come on Tuesdays, the students must also be enrolled in a Monday night group technique class. These private lessons will help the student to get the extra “one on one” attention that will bring them to the next level in music performance. Gifted and talented students are invited to enroll in the Tuesday lesson program.  

Lessons will be available on any instrument that is taught on Mondays. The fee for these private lessons will be $30 for a 30 minute lesson. These lessons must be paid up front for the full 10 weeks. Increments of private study can also be for 20 minutes, 30, 45, and/or 60 minute periods of private instruction. Intensive study of scales, arpeggios, solos, and concertos will be studied with our performing artist teachers. We prepare students to audition for BAK Middle School and Dreyfoos School of the Arts auditions. Many of our students have been selected for these schools in the past years.
