Piano/Keyboard Department

The Keyboard Department places emphasis on piano technique, posture, scales and fingerings, chords, note and rhythmic notations with a variety of beginning to intermediate pieces and exercises. Students perform in class on their own keyboards.

The Keyboard Department Season includes three terms and a minimum of four performances.

Students also have the opportunity to study concertos and solos privately with our artist Piano/Keyboard teachers on Mondays and Tuesdays in increments of 20, 30, 45, or 60 minute lessons. Students learn to play in the classical style as well as Broadway and Pops music.
